Atlanta Celebrates Debut Album of Singer-Songwriter Candace Devaney

Atlanta, GA - March 31, 2015 – Proclaim, Inc. presented CCM recording artist Candace Devaney for the

release of her debut album, “Journey.”

 

This talented singer-songwriter and producer performed songs from her new album at a Journey CD 

Release Party on Saturday, March 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the 595 Event Center located at 595 North 

Avenue, NW in downtown Atlanta. Candace performed to a packed house with standing room only. This 

event was open to the public and tickets were available on Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com under 

“Proclaim, Inc. Presents Candace Devaney.”

 

Listening to Journey is like taking a trip through many of life’s experiences as Candace performs her 

songs in some of her favorite genres of music such as contemporary jazz, classic rock, R&B, pop, neo-

soul and contemporary worship.

 

In celebration of this highly anticipated album release, several widely renowned performers helped 

kick off the evening including neo-jazz artist Anita Canada, the Christian rock band True Witness along 

with comedian Sweet Baby Kita, spoken word artist Ms. Lou the Poet and CCM artist Nu Purpose.

 

About Candace Devaney:  Candace is one of the most talented song stylists in the Atlanta metropolitan area.  Candace possesses a richly textured, four-octave vocal range which captures and exemplifies the 

essence of a musical idea, thus personifying it, breathing life and character into any song she performs.  

She is a seasoned, believable and enthusiastic performer who invites her audience to take part in the 

worship experience.  

 

Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, Candace specializes in vocal performance, songwriting and 

production.  Over the years, Candace has performed at various churches and public venues for concerts, 

conferences and private events.  She also has been a featured vocalist for many area bands.  Candace 

has had the privilege of singing the National Anthem for the Atlanta Braves and has had recurring 

appearances on the WATC TV Channel 57 program “Atlanta Live” and at America’s Best Praise Dance.
